Dubuque and Galena Rentals

Wonderful cabin. Boat access is a little tricky, but if you are familiar with Lake Wissota shouldn’t be a problem, just very shallow around the cabin. Great sunset views, probably best on the lake.

The house was beautiful. Set back from the road provided a peaceful atmosphere. The kitchen was wonderful and the main level master bedroom and bathroom were absolutely perfect. If we are in Atlantic again in the future this will be our first choice of places to stay.

We loved our stay in the Grandview neighborhood! The house is beautiful and clean, and our pups loved the fully-fenced backyard. The neighborhood is quiet and is within an easy driving distance to downtown Dubuque and outdoor areas like Mines of Spain. I would definitely stay here again! *My only note is the stairs in the house may be difficult for guests and pets with mobility issues. I have an old knee injury from sports and needed to be careful on the steps as both the basement and upstairs steps are a bit steep. This is to no fault of the host and there are sturdy handrails in place.

My kids are allergic to dogs, but even tho they're allowed inside, there was nothing making their eyes water or anything. House was comfortable and easy to tailor to everyones sleeping temperature with all of the individual air conditioners. It was a comfortable home with lots of space for our family. The bistro/bakery across the street was a great bonus!

This is the perfect getaway cabin! My husband and I came for a few days to celebrate our anniversary and are so happy we booked this cabin. It was so cute, clean, and peaceful. The lake views are gorgeous and the cabin itself came with everything we needed. It is nestled away in a quiet neighborhood but close to delicious restaurants, wineries, and more! We will definitely be back. We also brought our dog and the neighborhood is very walkable but there are tons of hiking spots nearby. 10/10!

We enjoyed our stay! Very cozy and comfortable. Nice, quiet tucked away home, off the street. Super comfy beds - which is a huge plus when traveling. Loved that the house was not completely bare and lots of daily items were provided that we might need. Would highly recommend. It is worth noting, the upstairs bedrooms do get hot in summer. Cranking up the AC and opening floor vents a few hours before bed helped get things cooled down.

Had a great time! The space was perfect for us. The bakery across the road was delicious and so convenient to grab a quick treat/breakfast. A quick drive to downtown and access to everything. Had a few kid toys that my Toddlers loved! Would highly recommend.

It was a phenomenal place to stay and we will often try to stay here. Family felt loved stopping in and out to see it and us. Close to family and our 9 yr old kept asking if we could buy it! It is a wonderfully vintage home with fabulous bathrooms and kitchen. Beds are all very comfortable. Wireless is great! Multiple people and things on it and still great. I LOVED the shower and will be in the tub next visit. Neighbors were kind and one was a friend of the family when I was little. Loved having our therapy dog with us. Many feelings felt and he loved on all of us. We will definitely stay again and I know many people were interested to learn more when we told people about where we are staying. Thank you for being kind and keeping an old home quirky, fun and gorgeous!

Very nice, older home with some updates including the kitchen, quarter bathroom and extra sleeping space in the basement. We loved the original hardwood floors. The backyard is fully fenced and perfect for our two Aussies. We appreciated the dog food bowls and dog toys. Although other listings are pet friendly, it was good to know our dogs were truly welcomed in Rylea's home. Neighborhood is very nice, with a lot of older, grand homes. The busy street was a bit loud, but it allowed for easy access to pretty much everything. This is one of the few homes within a 20-25 minute drive of Galena with a fully fenced yard. We had a nice stay here and would stay again!
